Graphic Designer / Sign Design and Production
We are an established and well-known sign manufacturing company of 25 years in Dublin, OH seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team with an opportunity for a long-term career position.
The candidate will have a dual role working in both graphic design and production, designing full color graphics and printing signs by operating wide-format printers.
Position: Full Time or Part Time, Mon-Thurs 8:00am-5:00pm, Fri 8:00am-2:30pm
DESIGN Responsibilities- Read and interpret Work Orders.
- Design Signs in FlexiPrint Software.
- Provide proofs as necessary for customer approval/feedback.
- Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to the printer. Save on media by utilizing the True Shape Nesting optimization. Preview, re-size, copy, rotate, tile, color correct and nest print jobs.
- Ensure correct material is used for all jobs.
- Automate common job preparation steps with job presets.
PRODUCTION Responsibilities- Load/unload media (35-55lbs) to/from Printer. (Assistance provided if need be)
- Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production.
- Document production usage and reprint/scrap reporting.
- Report material inventory levels and stock to be reordered.
Other Responsibilities include:- Create marketing materials as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or similar software a plus.
