Dublin Arts Council features Rod Bouc: Earth and Sky
The exhibition Rod Bouc: Earth and Sky will be on view at Dublin Arts Council, 7125 Riverside Dr., in Dublin March 3 through April 10, featuring artwork inspired by the Bouc’s memories of early life on a Nebraska farm. The exhibition opens with a reception March 3, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m., with a talk by the artist at 7 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free of charge. Federal Changes Impacting Ohio’s 529 Plan
The Further Consolidated Appropriations Act includes provisions that allow 529 withdrawals to pay for certain expenses associated with apprenticeship programs registered and certified by the Secretary of Labor under the National Apprenticeship Act, and to pay principal and interest on certain qualified education loans for the beneficiary of your account or any of the beneficiary’s siblings. Residents Asked to Support Washington Township Fire Department Levy
Washington Township Trustees voted July 13 to place a five-year, 8.25 levy on the November ballot. The proposed levy would renew an existing five-year levy voters passed in 2010 to support Washington Township’s Fire Department. Funds generated by the levy will be used for day-to-day expenses to operate four fire stations, provide administrative functions, and replace capital equipment, including replacement of a 22-year old ladder fire truck.
