Manager of Operations

Position Summary
Enhances the overall reliability and quality of electric service to the members by ensuring that the construction and maintenance of the distribution system complies with all applicable codes, standards, and best practices. Oversees the development of all Operations personnel with respect to career development, apprenticeships, continuing education, refresher training, all other training requirements. Ensures the dielectric testing of trucks, hot line tools, and rubber goods; along with the vehicle and trailer registrations and maintenance comply with all applicable policies, codes, standards, and laws.

Education
Two-Year technical degree in power line work or related field plus extensive specialized experience and training in electric distribution operations. Four-year Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.

Experience
A. Ten years experience in power systems operations. An additional five years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
B. Five years supervisory experience is required.
