    The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Explorations proudly presents an Exclusive Charter: Holland Windmills & Rhine River Castles Tour from Oct. 7 - 17, 2016

    This exciting 11-day adventure features 7 nights aboard the Amadeus Silver, and 2 nights in Lucerne & the black forest. Start your adventure in Lucerne, a traditional Swiss town along the banks of Lake Lucerne with an alpine backdrop. Here, you will enjoy the city’s lovely cobblestone streets, monuments, fountains, public squares, covered bridges and colorful frescoed buildings. You will travel to Basel by motor coach, where you will enjoy Switzerland’s 3rd most populated city and board the MS Amadeus Silver cruise ship. The MS Amadeus Silver is an innovative 180 passenger vessel that is the flagship of its class that launched in 2013.

    The first stop on the cruise is Breisach, a beautiful small town that houses one of Europe’s largest wine cellars and serves as a gateway to the Black Forest. Next, your ship will travel to Strasbourg in northeast France before heading to Speyer, one of Germany’s oldest cities known for its cathedral and numerous churches. On to Rudesheim and the Rhine River Gorge, a UNESCO Heritage Site and the most stunningly beautiful stretch of river with hillsides dotted with fairy-tale castles, historic towns and vineyards. The next port is Cologne, Germany’s 4th largest city where you will explore dock side taverns, cafes and shops before heading to Amsterdam, known as the “Venice of the North.” Finally, you will travel through the Dutch countryside to see famous windmills and visit an old fishing village offering many Dutch traditions including wooden shoe crafting and cheese making.
