Women in Business Luncheon Featuring Liliana Esposito, Chief Communications Officer for The Wendy's Company

About the speakers: Liliana Esposito, Chief Communications Officer, The Wendy’s Company
Liliana Esposito holds the position of Chief Communications Officer for The Wendy’s Company (NASDAQ: WEN), a role she assumed when she joined the company in June 2014. She serves as a member of the CEO’s senior leadership team, leading a staff of professionals responsible for communications, government and regulatory affairs, quality assurance, corporate responsibility and philanthropy. She is the president of the Wendy’s Foundation, a trustee of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, and serves on the Board of QSCC, the Wendy’s purchasing cooperative, which is responsible for sourcing food and packaging for Wendy’s restaurants in North America.Liliana is a passionate team leader and advocate for employee professional development. She serves as an executive sponsor of Women of Wendy’s and WeQual, the company’s professional networks focused on women, and LGBT employees and their allies.
Prior to joining Wendy’s, Liliana served as Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs for Dean Foods in Dallas, Texas, the nation’s largest dairy company and home to leading brands such as TruMoo® and Dean’s®. As a member of Dean’s executive leadership team, she played a key role in the $12 billion enterprise’s separation into three distinct and successful businesses, served as president of the company’s philanthropic foundation and spearheaded the company’s approach on critical topics such as environmental sustainability, animal welfare and nutrition.
Her previous experience includes tenure as Public Affairs Manager with Mars, Incorporated. She also served as a consultant for eight years with Burson Marsteller and Mercury Public Affairs, two leading public relations firms in New York City.
Liliana graduated from the University of Virginia, receiving a B.A. with distinction. She completed her law degree at Seton Hall University, from which she graduated summa cum laude. Liliana lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and two young children.
The cost to attend this event is only $20 per person for Chamber members and $30 per person for non-members, which includes lunch. Please include diet concerns when reserving your spot.
