About the speaker:
Shelbey Mitchell, M.S.W., L.I.S.W.-S, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker providing clinical services in Syntero's Columbus State Delaware program and Dublin School Based Prevention program. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology at the University of Mount Union and her Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University with a focus in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Shelbey has been working with Syntero Inc. since 2015. Along with her roles at Columbus State and Dublin, Shelbey is a member of the Community Crisis Response Team. Over the last five years she has provided outpatient mental health counseling to adults, children, families, and couples working through a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal concerns, and general stress. Shelbey also works for the Ohio Health Behavioral Health department where she performs mental health assessments in the emergency department.
