It's Time for Some Healthy Competition!
The Dublin Corporate Charity Cup, in partnership with the Dublin Chamber, the City of Dublin and Dublin City Schools, is all about fitness, team building and friendly competition. Throughout this two-day event, employees from area businesses will come together to compete in various challenges against other businesses as a way to promote employee wellness and community involvement. It is also a great way to earn bragging rights and support some great causes along the way!
Thursday, June 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Scene75
Friday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Dublin Jerome High School
Divisions*: Division 1: Employer with 100 or more employees - $2,800 Entry Fee Division 2: Employer with 50-99 employees - $2,300 Entry Fee Division 3: Employer with 6-49 employees - $2,000 Entry Fee (note: two companies with 25 or fewer employees may combine for one entry fee) Division 3: Employer with 5 or fewer employees - $300 Entry Fee (The Chamber will pair you with other businesses to make a larger team.) *This number refers to the number of employees on your payroll, not the number of those participating in the Battle of the Businesses.
Your safety is our priority! The Chamber has designed its events to allow for greater physical distancing than traditional events. Event organizers follow COVID-19 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Franklin County Public Health.
The Dublin area is experiencing higher rates of COVID-19. That means masks are recommended indoors and in crowded areas regardless of vaccination status. Franklin County Public Health has also issued a mask advisory until further notice recommending everyone wear a mask indoors and in crowded areas regardless of vaccine status to stop the spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant.
Safety Recommendations Patrons are asked to please consider the following recommendations to keep this a safe and healthy event:
Vaccinated and not vaccinated patrons are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering while indoors and in crowded spaces (both indoors and outdoors). Masks and hand sanitizer will be at event venues based on supply. Practice physical distancing from people who do not live in your household. If you are sick, please stay home. Monitor your health before you attend the event. Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizer. Cover your coughs and sneezes.
