ChamberU Series: Social Media - How to Turn Fans Into Profits
You know that you need to use social media to promote your business, but where do you start? Social media can be so confusing and so . . . well, technical. And it seems like another new site is popping up every day!
Join us as we demystify social media. Rather than focus on the technology, you will discover how you can use these tools to reach new customers.
Together, we will examine the up-and-coming social media sites like Snapchat, Periscope and Blab . . . all in easy-to-understand terms. You’ll find out how other members of the Dublin community are using social media for their organizations. Then we’ll examine Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Next, we’ll have a lot of fun determining how you can create a YouTube video that gets noticed by looking at nine YouTube videos that have gone viral. Each of these videos have millions of views, including a public service announcement for a non-profit and a video that is strictly business-to-business (no cute kids, kittens or puppies are even necessary)!
We’ll look at why content marketing is replacing promotional marketing, and then wrap up our discussion by taking a look into the crystal ball at – Web 3.0 and the Internet of Things.
About the Presenter: Ted Janusz
Lon Safko, author of the Amazon best seller, The Social Media Bible, says:
Ted Janusz is one of the most informed and dynamic speakers I have ever heard. Ted delivers more per hour than most speakers can deliver in a full day. His presentation style keeps you interested and wanting to hear what words of wisdom he will share next! Ted delivers!
Ted Janusz has facilitated more than 600 full‐day seminars (over 4,000 hours of time‐tested experience on the platform) in 49 of the 50 United States (lone exception: Wyoming), from Halifax to Vancouver, and in Puerto Rico.
Because of his business insights, Ted was also invited to appear on Geraldo at Large on the Fox News Channel. Janusz is a member of the National Speakers Association of Ohio. He earned his MBA in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.
The ChamberU Series is designed to offer an in-depth look at a variety of business topics in a brief four-hour seminar. Sessions include lunch and feature local business experts who are available to share tips, offer professional guidance and answer questions.
