Sales Connection Breakfast Series
Join us and Scott Bone with Emerald Psychiatry & TMS as he talks about "Sales Burnout: Sustainable Performance for High-Impact Teams" for our Sales Connection Breakfast. He will walk attendees through six steps of what is burnout, the warning signs, and how to prevent burnout before it happens.
1. What Sales Burnout Actually IsA clear, executive definition that reframes burnout as a systems issue, not a personal failing.
2. Why High Performers Are Most at Risk
Positioned as a paradox: the traits that drive success (drive, ownership, intensity) also accelerate exhaustion.3. Early Warning Signs Leaders Miss
Focused on subtle indicators—tone shifts, cognitive load, behavioral drift—not just absenteeism.4. The Performance vs. Pressure Curve
Visual framework showing:- Growth zone
- Peak performance
- Diminishing returns
- Burnout collapse
5. Practical Tools for Sustainable Performance
Each as its own visual-led slide:- Energy Management – Treat energy like capital
- Boundary Design – Structure beats willpower
- Cognitive Reframing – Pressure is interpreted, not just experienced
- Weekly Reset Framework – A 20-minute leadership ritual
6. Executive-Level Leadership Responsibilities
Reframed as: “Burnout is shaped by leadership design, not individual resilience.”With focus on:
- Modeling recovery
- Designing humane systems
- Measuring sustainability
- Protecting top performers
