(Dublin, OH) Dublin City Council has approved an economic development agreement with Hylant Group, Inc., a leading family-owned insurance and risk management firm, currently located at 565 Metro Place South. The company affirmed its intention to reinvest in Dublin by renewing its lease for another eight years, with plans to renovate and potentially expand its Metro Center office space. The economic development agreement includes a one-time incentive of $8,000 to support renovation costs. Additionally, the City has proposed a performance withholding incentive valued at $53,000, based on 10% of net new payroll withholdings generated over calendar years 2026 through 2028. The total estimated payroll withholdings for the retained and new employee positions are estimated to be $687,350 through Dec. 31, 2028. To be eligible for the performance withholding incentive, Hylant Group Inc. must execute a new lease agreement for a minimum of five years and provide proof of occupancy by Sept. 1, 2025.
“This agreement reflects the strength of our partnership with Hylant and underscores their confidence in the future of Metro Center and the City’s efforts to revitalize the area,” says Economic Development Administrator Luke Fleming. “We’re grateful for their continued presence and investment in our community.”
