Regina Im

Master Regina Im founded Korea Taekwondo (KTKD) with a mission to empower students through character education and martial arts. Born in South Korea and a proud immigrant to the U.S., she began her Taekwondo journey in 1999 and now holds a Fifth-Degree Black Belt with nearly 30 years of experience.

Since 2008, Master Im has partnered with the New York City Department of Education to bring Taekwondo programs to public schools, reaching over 40,000 students, parents, and teachers. She developed a school-friendly curriculum and authored the KTKD Kids Character Development Series and Taekwon Tales to teach life skills and anti-bullying through Taekwondo.

Her leadership inspires students to become confident, respectful, and responsible leaders—both in school and in life.
