Community Service Day FAQ
Q. Do You Have a Project or Need Help from Your Community?
A. Work projects are needed, so consider a Community Service Day project at your own school or church. Or maybe you know of a senior citizen who could use some helping hands for a day. Volunteer teams can provide any of the following services: outside cleanup, small painting jobs, planting flowers or mulching. You can request our service by calling 614-889-2001.
Q. How Can I Volunteer to Be a Part of Community Service Day?
A. Sign-up on-line or call the Dublin Chamber at 614-889-2001 to register. It’s a great event for corporate volunteer teams, families and individuals of all ages. Recruit your neighborhood, school, church, work, club or scout troop members to join together to volunteer in this city-wide event.
Q. Where can I find volunteer information?
A. All volunteers should plan to report to the Dublin Recreation Center between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Please bring gardening tools such as gloves, small shovels, rakes, etc. The event will be held rain or shine so dress appropriately for the weather! If you have additional questions please contact the Dublin Chamber of Commerce at 614-889-2001.
Q. Busy that Day?
A. You can still donate materials or make a monetary donation to help with the projects. Please call us at 614-889-2001 to make arrangements.
