SUMMARY:Paddle with a Purpose (for NW Special Olympics)
DESCRIPTION:Dublin Women's Philanthropic Club (DWPC) invites members of the community to participate in their Sept. 13 "Paddle with a Purpose" kayak outing to benefit Northwest Special Olympics. The 2.5-mile river excursion\, operated by Olentangy Paddle\, departs from Dublin's Amberleigh Park\, 4800 Carrigan Ridge Ct. at 6 p.m. and concludes with pressed juice cocktails provided by Vitality Smoothie and Juice at Dublin Spring Park\, 20 S. Riverview\, Dublin\, Ohio. Registration is $30 and participants are encouraged to seek additional pledges from friends\, relatives and associates. Northwest Special Olympics\, founded in 1987\, provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Paddle with a Purpose participants do not need to be DWPC members to attend\, but advance registration is required via https://raceroster.com/events/2016/9800/dwpc-paddle-with-a-purpose.
