SUMMARY:HR Executive Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Human Resources Executive Council is comprised of HR executives in our community who come together every other month during lunch to network and discuss the most urgent HR needs and issues in the community. Meetings are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and lunch will be provided to all attendees.\n\n\n\nAt this meeting on Sept. 10\, we will discuss The Seven Skills of Tolerance led by Scott Warrick\, JC\, MLHR\, CEQC.  Scott offers consulting\, training and employment law services and is a nationally-certified emotional intelligence instructor. He works to help organizations prevent employment law problems from happening while improving employee relations. And\, he uses his unique background in law and human resources as he travels the country presenting various HR programs.\n\n\n\nAttendees at this important session will discuss:\n\n\n	The seven essential skills necessary for any tolerance program.\n	Details around why most diversity / tolerance programs fail.\n	Why you should NOT require your employees to be accepting of each other.\n	The difference between diversity and tolerance.\n	Addressing hypersensitive people who are offended by anything you say.\n	And\, how to use this information in your place of business immediately!\n\n\nThis is an exclusive\, by invitation-only event.
