DESCRIPTION:The Human Resources Executive Council is comprised of HR executives in our community who come together every other month during lunch to network and discuss the most urgent HR needs and issues in the community. Meetings are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and lunch is provided to all attendees.\n\nThis is an exclusive\, by invitation-only event. If you are an HR executive and would like to be part of this group\, please send an e-mail to the Chamber with your name\, company\, company address and title.\n\n\n\nIf you are already part of this group and would like to RSVP\, please click on the link above. All registered attendees will be sent additional details as we get closer to the date.\n\n\n\nTopic of Discussion - Success Planning\n\nLed by Brian Rhonemus\, CEO of Sanford Rose Associates\n\nSuccession planning is an organization's dynamic ability to look at the future and prepare tomorrow's talent-today. Most experts agree that having a successful transition when the time comes\, starts with a well developed and tested plan in place. The discussion will emphasize the importance of succession planning\, show the steps in creating such a plan\, provide examples of successes in companies that have succession plans in place\, and how those companies have a competitive advantage over others. The benefits of thoughtful succession go beyond finding replacements for departing management. It reduces the likelihood of crisis if a key employee leaves and keeps the mission of the company on track. Perhaps just as importantly\, it forces accountability and talent assessment at least once or twice a year.\n\n \n\n\nBy attending a Chamber event you are granting permission to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce\, the Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation and anyone authorized by the Chamber to have unlimited right\, without charge\, to use your likeness in photos\, videos\, recordings and in all media now known or hereafter created to be used and distributed in perpetuity for promotional and publicity purposes.
