SUMMARY:HR Executive Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Human Resources Executive Council is comprised of HR executives in our community who come together every other month during lunch to network and discuss the most urgent HR needs and issues in the community. Meetings are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and lunch is provided to all attendees.\n\nThis is an exclusive\, by invitation-only event. If you are an HR executive and would like to be part of this group\, please send an e-mail to the Chamber with your name\, company\, company address and title.\n\n\n\nAt this meeting\, attendees will learn about Creating Leadership Behaviors that Last. In his new book\, "Triggers: Sparking Positive Change and Making it Last" Marshall Goldsmith details research that shows why some leaders are able to make positive\, long lasting changes while others stumble. In this session\, Richard Needles (certified in Marshall Goldsmith's Stakeholder Centered Coaching process) will lead an interactive session based on Marshall's new book.\n\nHighlights will include:\n\n\n	The truths of behavioral change\n	Triggers that support or hinder positive behavioral change\n	The power of active questions\n	The AIWATT model\n	The circle of engagement\n\n\nAttendees will leave the session with materials that can be used to make a real difference in their professional development path.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker: Richard Needles\n\nRichard Needles has worked as a consultant and coach with organizations in multiple industries ranging in size from 6 employees to 150\,000 employees. In his corporate career\, Richard personally hired over 2\,000 employees\; 50 at the director and executive level. Richard also founded a corporate university to develop emerging leaders and prepare them to take on expanding roles in times of rapid growth and change. Richard is a cum laude graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration / Labor & Human Resources.  \n\nIn 2006 Richard launched his executive coaching and HR consulting company.
