DESCRIPTION:Glenwood Alzheimer's Special Care Center\, a  JEA Senior Living assisted living center located at 6355 Emerald Parkway\, is thoughtfully designed to accommodate residents with Alzheimer's disease and related memory losses. Beautifully situated on a bike path\, it is a secured environment that allows residents to wander safely in the comfort of their home. \n\nConstruction began in June 2013 on our ranch style community owned and operated by JEA Senior Living of Vancouver\, Washington.  Glenwood is a 66 bed beautifully designed building with a secured outdoor walking path and a large inner courtyard with piped in music\, shaded porch and fountain area.  Known for their "Meaningful Moments" programs\, we provide daily activities that are unique to each resident to help engage them in a purposeful way.  \n\nJEA Senior Living is a private\, family owned company that is committed to being the leader in providing quality personal services to our residents while honoring the experience of aging.  This goal is achieved by providing positive activities\, effective communication and maintaining an environment that is "success orientated".  Our facility strives to meet the resident where they are in their world instead of demanding that they be in ours.
