By sharing stores from "Chicken Soup for the Caregiver's Soul" and her adventures of rescuing orphaned infants at the end of the Vietnam War\, Thieman captivates her audiences by helping renew the hope\, health\, courage and strength of caregivers while honoring them for being heroes. \n\nA nurse for 30 years\, Thieman is a nationally recognized professional speaker and writer.  After co-authoring "Chicken Soup for the Nurse's Soul\," she eventually went on to co-write 11 other books in the popular Chicken Soup series.
