DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the first day of spring at BMI Federal Credit Union at this "Spring Fling" Business After Hours event & Business Person of the Year Reception.\n\nThe March BAH offers all the fun festivities and networking you've come to know and enjoy at these after-work events\, including delicious food and beverages to socializing in a casual setting with members of the Dublin business community.\n\n\n\nAt this special Business After Hours\, those in attendance will also be treated to delicious food catered by Party Panache\, have the opportunity to win one of many door prizes and meet and honor Dublin's Business Person of the Year award recipients\, Asch and Kate Mikhail. The Business Person of the Year Award is presented annually to an individual who has positively contributed to the betterment of Dublin's business community.\n\n\n\nRecipients of Dublin's 2018 Business Person of the Year Award : Asch and Kate Mikhail\, owners of Sunny Street Caf \, located at 7042 Hospital Dr. in Dublin\n\n\n\nIn 2005\, Asch and Kate made Dublin their home and are proud that their children have attended Dublin City Schools. They opened Sunny Street Caf  on Hospital Drive in 2010 and made it a way of life to give back to the Dublin community that they love.\n\n\n\nThey have been members of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce since 2010\, and are annual supporters of Dublin's Community Service Day\, an event that brings volunteers together to assist area senior citizens with outdoor spring clean up. In addition\, Asch and Kate feature Sunny Street Caf 's delicious food every year at Taste of Dublin.\n\n\n\nAsch is vice president of the Dublin Food Pantry Board of Directors\, and is the former treasurer of the Chapman Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. He is also an active member of Dublin A.M. Rotary and the Dublin City Schools Business Advisory Council. Kate was a 2017 Make-A-Wish "Women Inspiring Strength and Hope" honoree\, a former Chapman Elementary Parent Teacher Organization Staff Appreciation committee chair\, and a Girl Scouts troop leader.\n\n\n\nThey consider the Caf  an extension of themselves because it allows them to help with school fundraisers\, local charities\, church organizations and other small businesses. Through their business\, Asch and Kate provide jobs for about 25 employees including many area high school students.\n\nAll Chamber member businesses and their employees are invited to attend this FREE event\, which is a benefit of their Chamber membership.\n\nInvite your entire office and RSVP today!\n\n\nBy attending a Chamber event you are granting permission to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce\, the Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation and anyone authorized by the Chamber to have unlimited right\, without charge\, to use your likeness in photos\, videos\, recordings and in all media now known or hereafter created to be used and distributed in perpetuity for promotional and publicity purposes.
