Community Service Day is May 3

Dublin's Community Service Day is on Saturday, May 3 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Dublin Recreation Center, and is Dublin's volunteer "spring clean-up day." Area businesses are invited to support this great event where area senior citizens, Dublin schools and non-profit organizations get help with spring clean up and outdoor projects. Volunteers of all ages are also needed and encouraged to sign up online.

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
We know area businesses need to do some spring cleaning, too! Visit the following drive-through stations at the event:

  • E-Waste Recycling Station offered by Accurate IT: Drop off old electronic equipment, computer-related items, household electronics and small appliances on May 3 or arrange for a pick-up of your items if you have larger recycling needs by calling the Chamber at 614-889-2001. For a full list of accepted items, please go online. CRT monitor and televisions cannot be accepted.

  • Document Shred-It Station offered by Shred Devil: Safeguard your confidential information by bringing up to two boxes of documents to a free shred-it station. Business and residential documents will be accepted and shredded on site.

  • Food/Clothing Donation Station: Help those in need in your community by donating non-perishable food or gently-used clothing. Items will go to support local non-profits including the Dublin Food Pantry and Welcome Warehouse.

For additional details, download this flyer or call the Dublin Chamber at 614-889-2001.
