Letter from the President, Jeff Holowicki
Dublin was ranked in 2011 among the best quality of life areas in the Midwest according to The Business Journals research findings. In fact, Dublin ranked 9th out of the 955 Midwest communities analyzed on healthy economies, light traffic, moderate costs of living, impressive housing and strong educational systems. This is great news for Dublin residents, but also for the businesses who service this area as well as new businesses looking to start in Dublin.
Dublin’s quality of life is directly linked to the success of its business community. Whether you are a Chamber member or a resident, patronizing Dublin Chamber member businesses will help to ensure the continued success of Dublin. Buying goods and services locally helps neighborhood businesses, and keeps your hard-earned dollars in Dublin. Taxes from businesses and their employees in Dublin finance the majority of costs of city services and a considerable portion of school services. Without the support of strong area businesses, residents alone could not maintain the quality of life enjoyed in Dublin.
If you work in the Dublin area, own a business or are looking to start a business, find out how the Dublin Chamber could help you. Dublin Chamber members have access to a host of benefits and programs designed specifically for businesses. Browse through our website to learn how our members use Chamber programs to help grow their business, network in the community and save money!
And, being a member of the Dublin Chamber – the largest suburban chamber of commerce in the state of Ohio – could say a lot about your business’ reputation. According to a national study by the Schapiro Group, consumers are 63 percent more likely to do business with a company they believe is a member of the local chamber of commerce. When consumers know that a business is a chamber member, they are 44 percent more likely to think favorably about the business. If you would like to join or refer someone for membership, call us at 614-889-2001 or have them sign up to be a member online.
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce is proud to have served Dublin businesses and the community for more than 36 years and looks forward to many more years of great service on behalf of our members.
