Boring (Ward 1) Amy Salay (Ward 2) John Reiner (Ward 3) Timothy Lecklider (Ward 4) City of Dublin Clerk of Council Government: Dublin is governed by a council-manager form of government. Council is comprised of seven Dublin citizens elected by residents to serve four-year terms. Four members represent each of Dublin’s four geographic wards, while the remaining three members are elected at large. City council’s responsibilities include reviewing, deliberating and taking action on legislation as prescribed by the city charter and the laws of the State of Ohio applicable to municipalities. Council also determines goals and establishes policies for the city. The council hires the city manager and the clerk of council. Dublin’s City Council elects a mayor and a vice mayor from its own ranks to serve two-year terms. The mayor’s primary duties include presiding over council meetings, performing ceremonial civic duties and overseeing mayor’s court. The vice mayor assumes the duties of the mayor in the absence of the mayor.
