Q:  What is the Member-to-Member Discount Program?
A: The Dublin Chamber of Commerce member-to-member discount is a program designed to permit member businesses the opportunity to extend offers to other member businesses, such as discounted products and services.  This discount should be better than any other advertised promotion typically offered. 

Q:  Who is eligible to offer a Member-to-Member Discount?
A:  Any active Dublin Chamber of Commerce member can participate in the program.

Q:  Who is eligible to receive a Member-to Member Discount?
A:  Any active member business and their employees are eligible to receive the discounts offered in the program.

Q:  How can I verify if a business is a member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce?
A:   For an up-to-date listing of member businesses, please visit www.dublinchamber.org.  You can also refer to the current issue of the Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide.

Q:  How do I verify that someone works for a member business?
A:  Current membership information is available through the online membership directory at www.dublinchamber.org. Businesses can also contact the Chamber at 614-889-2001 during the business hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon.-Fri., to verify if that business is an active member.

*Please note – all employees of a member business are eligible to receive the discount.  For example, OCLC is a member and they have 1,000 employees.  All 1,000 employees are eligible for the discount.  Often, employees will have an Employee ID Card, Business Card, etc., to show that they are currently employed with that member business.

Q:  How long is the discount offered to the membership?
A:  Discounts are offered for one year from date of submission unless the Chamber is notified in writing of a change or discontinuation.

Q:  How much does the discount program cost?
A:  Participating in the member-to-member discount program is absolutely free. It is a benefit of Chamber membership.

Q:  What is the advantage of participating in the program?
A:  Members gain exposure by advertising their discounted products and services to the Chamber membership. The member-to-member discount program offers businesses an opportunity to build its customer base and provides no-cost marketing.

Q:  What kind of discount should I offer?
A:  Many members offer a discounted percentage off of products and services. Examples of such member-to-member discounts include “10% off a specific service” or “special rates for specific services, call business for details”.  Discounts are ultimately at the member’s discretion so you must make that decision.

Q:  How are Member-to-Member Discounts publicized?
A:  The Chamber promotes its member-to-member discount program via its Web site, email and/or promotional flyers. Information is updated regularly.

Q: What if I take part in the program, but change my mind?
A:  Members can opt to discontinue their participation in the discount program at any time. The Chamber requires a 30-day written notice to update promotional material.

Q:  Which businesses take part in the Member-to-Member Discount program?

Q:  When do I use my Member-to-Member Discount Card?
A:  You can use your Member-to-Member Discount Card when shopping at member businesses that offer member-to-member discounts. For a complete listing of discounts, click here.

Q:  Do I have to use my Member-to-Member Discount Card to be eligible for the discounts?
A:  No. Member discounts can be confirmed using an employer identification card, a business card or your Member-to-Member Discount Card. Chamber businesses can also look up your business listing in the Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide, or on the Chamber’s online membership directory at www.dublinchamber.org.

Q:  How many Member-to-Member Discount Cards can my business request?
A:  MTM Discount Cards are available on a first come, first serve basis and may be limited due to your level of membership. For example, at the Shamrock level, members may request up to nine discount cards.  Please refer to the listing below:

          Shamrock level     (1-9 employees)        up to 9 cards

          Limerick level        (10-49 employees)    up to 49 cards

          Emerald level        (50-99 employees)    up to 99 cards

          Waterford level     (100+ employees)     up to 200 cards


Additional cards may be purchased for $0.50.
