NextGen Dublin Policies and Procedures
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce board of directors will appoint an Advisory Council who will over see each individual committee for NextGen Dublin. There will be a total of 12 chair positions on the NextGen Dublin Advisory Council. Six of the 12 Advisory council members will serve as the chair for an assigned committee. Each chair will then be given a co-chair to assist them.

Each member of NextGen Dublin must abide by the following guidelines:
• All members must agree to abide by the Chamber’s and NextGen Dublin’s bylaws and membership policies
• A Chamber staff member and an Advisory Council member must be present at all committee meetings
• One Chamber board member and one Chamber staff member must be present at all Advisory Council meetings
• Agenda items must be submitted to Chamber at least three business days prior to a meeting
• Minutes and agendas will be kept on file at the Chamber
• All communications to committees, members and the media must be approved by the Chamber’s board of directors and released through the Chamber’s Executive Director
• All committee meetings must be held at the Chamber conference facilities, unless approved in writing by the Chamber’s Executive Director
• A call to action must be forwarded to Advisory Council for approval, and then action can be taken
• Any action must be voted on by the Chamber’s board of directors to pursue further achievement
• Meetings will be scheduled by Committee Chairs and Chamber staff members
• No member shall represent themselves in any sale or process representing NextGen Dublin
Responsibilities of a NextGen Dublin Advisory Council Member:
• Attend all events, including meetings, luncheons, golf outings, events, etc.
• Serve as an Ambassador of the Chamber and NextGen Dublin—recruit new members and assist in retaining current members. Carry membership applications with you at all times, and make a conscious effort to do business with your fellow members.
• Become active within the committee in which you have been assigned and prepare a monthly report to present at meetings. You have a responsibility to the membership in which you have agreed to serve.
• Support programs and special projects thru participation and sponsorship (i.e. golf outing, Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide, luncheons and awards programs).
• Stay current on local events and bring topics of interest to meetings for discussion.
• Read, understand and know the Chamber’s and NextGen Dublin Bylaws, Membership Benefits, Dues Structure and Services.
*All NextGen Dublin Advisory Council members must work for a company that is a member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
